If you use a marker to write an address on a coconut and affix the proper postage, the
US Postal Service will deliver it. In fact, the Hoolehua post office in Hawaii processes about 3,000 coconut postcards per year.
In fact the USPS will try to deliver anything as long as it does not pose a risk. According to National Geographic, people have mailed messages on pumpkins, flip-flops, driftwood, and sand-filled bottles.
